come together on the South Side

Contact us to schedule a free visit, or to ask about scholarships! WYEP members save at least $40 on Fall, Winter and Spring registration fees. Are you a member?

Want to see what Music Together @ WYEP is all about? Check out some photos. Or read what participants have to say about the program.

Did you know that you can support WYEP just by shopping? Visit the WYEP Amazon.com store and select the category "Music Together @ WYEP's Daisy Klaber Recommends" to find some great gift ideas for young children and the grownups who love them.

Registration for our October 1-December 16 Fall Session is now open. We meet on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 AM at the WYEP Community Broadcast Center (but no, we don't sing on the air). Update: Our 10:30 AM classes are already filled to capacity for the fall session, so we're considering adding 11:30 AM classes on Saturdays and Sundays. Interested? Let us know!

The Music Together @ WYEP studio is located in the lobby-level Large Performance Space at the WYEP Community Broadcast Center on the South Side, at 67 Bedford Square (interactive map below). Free and metered parking spots are available behind the building on Muriel Street, and in the surrounding neighborhood near the Market House. Please note that on the fourth Saturday of each month, the Market House serves as a distribution site for Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (GPCFB), so it's wise to allow extra time for parking on these mornings.

*If inclement weather conditions force us to cancel a class, we'll announce the closing on WPXI.* You might find it helpful to subscribe and receive e-mailed alerts about delays and closings.

In addition to the experience of making music as a family, benefits of your registration include

Make-up Class Policy

We want to see you every week, but naturally we understand that scheduling conflicts may occasionally arise.  When you notify us in advance at least 24 hours before your class time that you won't be able to join us, your absence will qualify as "make-up-able."  In this case, you're welcome to contact our office and schedule yourselves for a make-up class at any other class time with available space during the session in which you've missed class (on a first come, first served, basis).  Each family is permitted to make up two classes per six-week or ten-week session.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

When you notify us in writing before your class's first meeting time that you need to cancel your registration, we'll refund your payment after deducting an administrative charge.

While we hope, and expect, to hold each class we offer, we must reserve the right to cancel or postpone any session or program that does not meet our minimum participant number requirement.  We encourage you to register early since doing so reserves your space and also helps prevent class cancellations.

If it becomes necessary for us to cancel an entire session or program, we'll notify you in writing and either refund your payment in full, or issue you a refund which is proportionate to the number of your class meeting times held by that point and the total number of planned meeting times for your class.

Naturally we'll make every effort to reschedule any class meetings missed due to unanticipated circumstances, but we cannot guarantee rescheduling.
