What interests you about the program?
It's fun!

I get to sing, dance, play, be creative, get fit. . .all at the same time!

It's the original family music class.

I love music and am interested in fostering that love in a variety of ways with my children.

The Music Together CD is the ONLY CD we have on which [my husband] and I like all the songs. . .which makes the car rides pleasant!

Attending Music Together class with my grandchildren has been one of my most rewarding experiences as a grandmother. . .[it] provides a fantastic time for sharing and bonding between the generations.

Music Together has become one of my favorite activities that my daughter and I share. . . So many dads don't get to spend enough time with their children.  Music Together is fun and entertaining for [my daughter] but it's also a guarantee that we will always have that hour to spend together, just she and I.

I heard about the program on WYEP.  My husband plays the guitar and we listen to music with our son a lot- he enjoys listening so much and we want to develop his interest in making music as well (and just spark a general appreciation of music). This program sounds like a lot of fun!

I sometimes catch myself listening to Music Together CDs when I'm ALONE in the car.

I have been singing to my daughter since she was in utero, and she loves music. Plus, as a single parent, I am always looking for opportunities to meet other parents and for my daughter to interact with other children. Music classes seem ideal but there aren't a lot of options for a 6 month old. I was very diappointed in my [other music class] experience, so I was excited to think there was some alternative.

Music Together was a wonderful experience!  Daisy is a fabulous instructor who makes everyone feel important. . . As an uncle. . .I highly recommend Music Together to anyone who wants to spend quality time with the important children in their life!

What a wonderful thing for people of all ages to do together!

I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful session of music classes.  We have all enjoyed them and [our daughter] has really gotten a lot out of them. . . [My husband] read all of the Music Together booklets and he said it has made him look at music differently.  Especially the stuff about not having to be "perfect" at it or how it doesn't matter if the parent sings out of key, etc.  I also appreciate your loving attitude and patience with the kids.

We enrolled last session.  [My child] LOVES it!!

Fun to learn new songs to sing with the kids, and they love using the instruments.

I love what I have read on your website.  I am especially intrigued by the Montessori approach to learning.

. . .Being able to introduce my children to music through participation.

I did a free demo class and thought it was great to see kids of all ages and moms participating too!

My daughter seems drawn to anything musical--instruments, songs, etc., as I think most children are.  It would be great to expose her to more and it's always a bonus to be around other children since she's an only child right now.

When we lived in the DC area, we became Music Together "junkies," and are happy to have found one here!

Daisy is an outstanding teacher; Fun songs to sing; music that my child and I can enjoy; learning new things about music and being able to share that with my child; dance parties at home to music together CDs; calmer road trips with the CDs & they're also a fairly instant tantrum dispeller

Music is an amazing thing for children.

I found you because I am a member of WYEP and listen at work. I wanted to join last session, but all the classes I could go to were full. We like the program because [my daughter] gets to meet a variety of kids and adults and play and hear different types of music.

Thanks so much for a great class!

"Music is the one art we all have inside.  We may not be able to play an instrument, but we can sing along or tap our feet.  Have you ever seen a baby bouncing up and down in the crib in time to some music?  When you think of it, some of that baby's first messages from his or her parents may have been lullabies, or at least the music of their speaking voices.

All of us have had the experience of hearing a tune from childhood and having that melody evoke a memory or a feeling.  The music we hear early on tends to stay with us all our lives."
